This project requires a lot of work and money, please support UFO research

Project structure

What ?

The project goal is to detect any UFO activity in some areas classified as "spot". To do this, we must build a device capable of recording many physical measurements in different domains. The few available measures suggest the monitoring of magnetic fields and microwave (read James McCampbell's document: Effects of UFOs Upon People [ 65 Kb]). For this project, I added some sensors such as electrostatic field probe, radiation (X,ß,Gamma), barometer, thermometer, and possibly accelerometer (seismometer).

Why ?

Although the media almost never tell speak of UFO activity, or to mock them, facts are there for those willing to take the trouble to search. Thousands of people see lights or strange flying objects, sometimes confirmed by radars, and even some former pilots (military or not) begin to speak. In my case, I am convinced of the existence of races coming to visit us discreetly. My goal is to bring some new and concrete elements to study UFOs, and possibly convince people that it is a serious subject. Finally, I'll try to make the project clear, economical and reproducible for those who wish to replicate it.

History

There have been other such projects in the past. The best known is the MADAR project (Multiple Anomaly Detection & Automated Recording) in the 60s until 1989:
“The MADAR Project was designed to demonstrate that UFOs were not only witnessed by reliable observers, but also by electronic devices which cannot hallucinate.”

It was able to show that the witnesses peaks of UFOs were correlated with anomalies that detectors recorded . There are other recent projects (see links), I decided to do mine. There will have no camera, but highly sensitive sensors, over a thousand measures per minute, all recorded on a flash card, day and night with an autonomy of one year.
